PHOENIX, AZ – December 15, 2022 – Avertium, a leading provider of managed cybersecurity services, has announced announced the addition of Microsoft Security experts to its team of threat-defense professionals. Wil Klusovsky, Christina Cala, and Sarah Banks will help lead Avertium’s next phase of growth for the company’s managed extended detection and response solution, Fusion MXDR.
Klusovsky joins Avertium as its Vice President Chief Security Architect. He brings more than 23 years of industry experience, 14 of which were spent developing specific expertise in consulting and managed security services. A Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he has served as a Microsoft certified professional in security for two decades.
Cala joins Avertium as Senior Microsoft Alliance Manager with more than 20 years of sales experience in the IT industry. As a former Microsoft Partner Manager at Red Canary, Cala utilized her expertise on the direct sales side of Microsoft, collaborating with field sellers and engaging with a large list of mid-market and enterprise accounts. Armed with 10 years of mastering the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem, she now joins Avertium to establish the company as a leading Microsoft Security Services Partner in the industry.
Banks joins Avertium as its Vice President of Product Management. She has held two executive leadership positions during her 20 years of work with some of the largest Internet Service Providers in the industry. Banks recently helped drive Microsoft Defender for IoT efforts while also engaging with the Microsoft Defender initiative.
In 2022, Avertium launched its premium service for Microsoft Security customers, Fusion MXDR, a platform that then proceeded to win “Security Response Solution of the Year” at the 6th Annual International CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards. Avertium was named a Microsoft Security Solutions Partner, an elite designation among cybersecurity companies, and is also a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association.
